I feel Shaun was quite polite during the call. Statements by BT during the call seem to make no sense and were somewhat contradictory.

Shaun is trained to be assertive and not rude and I have no reason to think otherwise. However, we are happy to review the call recording if you wish to raise a formal complaint. We are also considering a formal complaint at the accusation that Shaun was rude, and the implication that he is always rude.

Whilst it is the same CISCO bug causing this, the problem shows with purely IPv4 packets and as such BT's (rather dubious) claim not to support IPv6 is not relevant. If you do not fix this we will have to conclude BT do not support IPv4 either and report that to the media.

17 Fri 08:43:16 adrian@a Initial notes PPP packets from CP to EU of 75 bytes or less are truncated to 2 plus the length indicated in bytes 4 and 5 of the packet. This means compound-frame IPv4 packets totalling under 75 bytes of PPP drop all but the first IPv4 packet. We have done extensive tests to confirm this and can provide packet dumps. This is an IOS bug, CISCO bug reference CSCsd13298.
